Missions Training

At Living Well, we are passionate about taking the Word of God out into the local community and finding opportunities to serve locally, nationally and internationally. Through both individuals from within Living Well and the with the students from the training centre (SWEAT), we have completed a range of missions work in recent years.

This has included youth work in the Isle of Wight, schools work in Devon, community work in a church in Doncaster, medical missions to Africa, serving at Shekinah Mission in Plymouth, assisting with a community fun run in North Devon, completing a missions week in Germany and  working with HIV & AIDS orphans in Africa.

In 2013, as an extension of current missions work and with a foresight to what God has for us as a body in future, we delivered a ‘Missions Training Week.’ The week covered a range of topics including:

  • Motivation for mission
  • Being part of a team
  • Being spirit led
  • Understanding cultural differences
  • Preparing for missions

The week provided a significant opportunity for us to get together, deepen relationships and start to understand more about local, national and international missions.

We look forward to the mission opportunities God has for us and continuing to come together as a team to bring Christ to many.
